telling no showing

I like protective, possessive and jealous heroes and Dash was. Also there was a HEA which I always prefer. The problem is that the story was more telling than showing. I did not feel any attraction, love or heat between Dash and Vi and few love making scenes were mediocre. At times the story dragged and even though it was a short book it took me longer than usual to finish it.

I didn't realize this was a book about Dash until 20% into the story. I waited to learn about him and was a little disappointed with this story.

It was ok

Pretty predictable and not much of a story. Short and a happy ending. Didn't really get the "big events" in this book. Weren't many of them.
