I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I read Cassidy Jane, the first book in this series and was happy to find this continues right where that left off. While the beginning is set in Stoney Creek, after the start of a courtship, a betrothal, and the wedding of her friend Rose, things move to New York, where Cassidy Jones meets the family of Joshua, her intended. While there C.J. meets again the not so nice Winifred, as well as a few new characters. In the end the happy couple returns to Stoney Creek, but the door is left open for possible returns to New York in future volumes. All in all this was another fun, easy to read story with Christian values, without being "preachy" at all. I look forward to the next part of Cassidy Jane's story.

Loved this book!!!! The story is so sweet and fun to read, and I love how it flowed nicely from the first book. On to book three for me, then will be looking at more books by this author.
