Excellent! I have worked in transportation for about 17 years. I only wish this book would have been available sooner!. The author conveys a clear concise understanding on how carriers function and how shippers can work more effectively with carriers to reduce costs.I found the way the book was organized to be very useful. The subject matter was presented in a clear concise manner throughout this book. The chapters on network optimization and profitability analysis were also very beneficial to my business. I also enjoyed that the case studies explain and tie everything together at the end of the book. Overall, a very useful book about Truckload Transportation.

Excellent! I have worked in transportation for about 15 years on both the carrier side and the shipper side. I wish this book would have been available when I first started. I have learned a great deal about how carriers function and how shippers can work more effectively with carriers to reduce costs. I have also really benefited from the chapters on dedicated fleets as that is a new area that I'm just getting involved with on the shipper side. The case studies at the end of the book really tie everything together too. I know my organization will be purchasing additional copies for training purposes. Highly recommend!
